Invitrona — Electrical Power Systems

Privacy notice

Effective from .

Who we are

This notice explains how INVITRONA ELECTRICALS LIMITED ("Invitrona", "we") handles personal data collected through invitrona.com. We are the data fiduciary for that data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Our registered office is A-56, Naraina Industrial Area, Phase 1, New Delhi 110028, India.

What we collect

We collect personal data only when you send one of the two forms on this site.

Engineering enquiry

The Discuss your requirement form asks for:

  • required: name, organisation, email address, requirement summary and your consent;
  • optional: role or function, phone number, location, market or application, product or solution interest, project stage and preferred next action.

Service request

The service request form asks for:

  • required: name, email address, product identity, current condition of the equipment, issue summary and your consent;
  • optional: organisation, phone number and serial number.

Recorded with each form

When a form is sent we also record a reference number, the date and time, a code calculated from the form type, email address and summary (to spot accidental duplicates), and a code calculated from your network (IP) address (to limit repeated sending). The IP address itself is not stored with the form.

Please do not include passwords, payment details, government identity numbers or health information in a form. The forms do not accept file uploads.

Why we use it

We use the information in a form to review your requirement or service request and to reply to you using the contact details you gave. We keep it so that a later conversation about the same enquiry has the full record. The two codes described above protect the forms against misuse. We do not use form information for marketing, and we do not sell it.

Your consent

We process form information on the basis of your consent. The engineering enquiry form asks you to confirm: "I agree that Invitrona may store and use the information in this form to review and reply to this requirement. We keep what you send for 24 months from the date you send it and then delete it; a deleted record can remain in backups for up to 35 days." The service request form uses the same words, with "service request" in place of "requirement". A form cannot be sent without that confirmation.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us as described under "How to contact us". We then stop using the information and delete it, subject to the backup period below. Withdrawal does not affect what was done before it.

Where it is stored and for how long

  • Form records are stored with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in its Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region. They are encrypted at rest and travel over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
  • We keep what you send for 24 months from the date you send it and then delete it; a deleted record can remain in backups for up to 35 days. Deletion is automatic and normally completes within a few days of the 24-month point.
  • The web server's access logs record the IP address, date and time, page or file requested, referring page and browser type of every visit. They are kept for 90 days and then deleted. They do not contain form contents.
  • The service that receives the forms keeps technical operating logs for 14 days. They do not contain form contents.

Pages are delivered through Amazon CloudFront, which may answer a request from a location close to you, inside or outside India.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools.

Who can see it

Form records are read only by the Invitrona personnel who review enquiries and service requests. AWS hosts the site, the form service and the stored records on our behalf and processes them only on our instructions. We do not share form information with anyone else, except where Indian law requires us to.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us:

  • for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • to correct, complete or update it;
  • to erase it;
  • to resolve a grievance about how we have handled it;
  • to accept a person you nominate to exercise these rights if you die or become unable to act.

To confirm that a request comes from you, we reply to the email address given in the original form and may ask for its reference number. We answer requests and grievances within the period the Act and its rules set.

If you are not satisfied with our answer to a grievance, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

How to contact us

This site publishes no email address or telephone number. You can reach us in two ways:

  • by post, marked "Privacy request", to INVITRONA ELECTRICALS LIMITED, A-56, Naraina Industrial Area, Phase 1, New Delhi 110028, India;
  • through the engineering enquiry form: start the requirement summary with "Privacy request" and include the reference number if you have one.

A privacy request sent through the form is itself a form record, kept and deleted in the same way as any other.

Children

The forms are for business enquiries. If you are under 18, please do not use them.

Changes to this notice

If the way we handle personal data changes, we update this page and its effective date. The site's other terms are in the terms of use.
