Process duties such as electroplating, anodising, electrolysis and battery charging need DC at a controlled current or voltage. Invitrona's rectifiers combine a transformer with a silicon diode or thyristor bridge, with air or oil cooling and constant-current or constant-voltage control. The DC operating point, duty cycle, ripple limit and control interfaces are defined first, and the rectifier is configured around them.
